The survey behind the finding

The study included 6,034 U.S. adults, combining the American Trends Panel and an Ipsos KnowledgePanel oversample of lesbian, gay and bisexual respondents. Results were weighted to the U.S. adult population. A survey sample size alone is insufficient to reconstruct the uncertainty of a weighted estimate.

Reviewed in 2026 does not mean surveyed in 2026. These findings do not measure today’s active users, dating availability or the share of couples who met online.
